This is something to try to get past cravings for foods that you know are a trigger food for you.
drink some water, wait 5 minutes. If you still want it, drink some more water and think if there is something you could have instead. and wait 5 more minutes. If after these 10 minutes are up and you still want it, drink some water, think if there is something else you can have and wait 5 minutes. If after 15 minutes, you stll want it; have it but make sure you journal the points
The reason you still go ahead and have it after 15 minutes is to avoid binge eating.

We are all human. We have moments when life, stress or old habits make everything we are doing more difficult. That includes our weight watcher journey. Yes, you can give in and stop journaling, stop drinking your water, stop eating your veggies, and stop exercising, but I want you to think about the changes that have already started in your life.
I know that after only two weeks on the program, I had more energy, my clothes were already fitting better, and I was starting to like myself more. Remember that feeling and go with it!!!!!! Post a before picture everywhere!!!!!!!!! The refrigerator door, the bathroom mirror, the sun visor of your car, any where you will see it. Have a current picture right beside it!!!!!!! Have your measurements done. The scale is a set of numbers but when you actually see the amount of inches that are melting off your body, you will be amazed!!!!!!!!
Just because everyone is saying "Oh you don't need to lose more. You have lost enough. You can have just one.", ignore them and do what is right for you!!!!!!!!! Measure your food, journal your points, drink your water, eat your veggies, and move your butt!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a life time journey we are on. We are learning new habits and unlearning a lifetime of bad habits. No one said it would always be easy or that we would not have rough times a long the way. Nothing in life that is worth anything is easy!!!!! We invest time and energy in our relationships with family, friends and significant others( i.e. husband, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends) so why not invest time and energy in ourselves.
Weight Watcher's gives up the tools. our leaders, groups, and the boards give us support!!!!! We have to decide how we will use them. I know I am going to make it to GOAL and LIFETIME and I would love to see the rest of you make it there also!!!!!!!!
Lots of Hugs,
Steve
